How to Manage Scheduled Jobs When Scheduler Needs to be Stopped for an Extended Period

There are some cases when either the Scheduler Server or the Enterprise Server have to be stopped for a longer period of time. In such cases, when the Scheduler Server is started, or when the Enterprise Server is started (when Scheduler Kernel is also started), the load on the Enterprise Server which runs the Scheduler Server will be very high in case a huge number of scheduled jobs had to be submitted in the past.
