Bare metal disaster recovery if LEAPP goes wrong.........

Dear Specialists,

We have a server with a bare metal install, it's using OL7 and we want to take it up to 8 using LEAPP. We do backup with Rubrik but a bare metal recovery seems long winded and we dont have a jumpstart instance on our network. So my question is how can we best protect ourselves against a LEAPP failure just with a our LVM on the local disk. Thought about potential LV mirror but not quite sure how we'd achieve a dual boot using the /boot as native slice. I know LEAPP has the option to revert back to
