Hi,

We are getting ready to apply July released critical security patches in October. I am working on the test and execution plan and need the following to present to the management :

  1. What Security vulnerabilities does these patches cover?
  2. What threats and risks are we mitigating with application of these patches?
  3. What would be the risk if we do not apply in October and push it to Q1 of 2025?
  4. What should be my testing strategy. I read the readme of all 9 patches and see they are affecting workflows. While we do not use Oracle time and labor and Complex maintenance, what should be my scope of testing for oracle applications framework, AOL, Purchasing, workfow and WEB ADI ? Any guidance greatly appreciated . Should i test all functionality and interfaces touching Purchasing module and all workflows (AP/PO/PA/GL)?
