A JDBC thin application can no longer connect to the database after patching a database to 19.24

Hello,
after patching the database to 19.24, one of our applications (from the vendor SAS), which uses a JDBC thin connection, can no longer connect to the database.

After resetting this database to patch version 19.23, this application can connect to the database again without any problems.
