modifying the SNMP on infiniband or the admin switch

We need help updating or modifying the SNMP string for some of our exadata's, and we're hoping to get instructions on how to proceed. Is there a resource we could use to help provide us with proper instructions? or would we need someone from oracle support since they actively monitor and patch the exadata?
