Fiscal Year definition in JDE

Has anyone worked on non-calendar fiscal year setup?

Our customer is moving from a Calendar Year to the Nov to Oct fiscal year format.

The Fiscal Year definition as per the Federal government and SEC is the year in which the year ends. So, if the period is from Nov 2023 to October 2024 - the fiscal year would be 2024.

In JDE, the FY defaults to 2023, and it is not flexible

Is there a fix for it in JDE to align with the guidelines? If not, what are some issues we could potentially be facing?

I created an SR and there is already open Enhancement Request but there is no solution from Oracle yet. Reaching out to the wider user community for possible solutions.
