New hire in prepare for hire with wrong applicant type and type of hire.

We had an internal employee apply for an open job posting and selected that they were a previous employee. When the talent team processed them thru the Prepare for Hire step, they did not realize this error and processed them in Prepare for Hire. They are now sitting in the Prepare for Hire step as Applicant Type: External - Previous Employee and Type of Hire: Rehire.

What is the easiest way to correct this at this point? We need them to process as Type of Hire: Transfer and Applicant Type: Employee

We have already updated the Applicants application to indicate the applicant type of Employee and Are you a former employee: No.
