UDO management question
Hello,
This might be a very basic question…
What's the best practice to manage following UDOs?
(1) Grid Customization
(2) Watch list
(3) Form Personalization
(4) Form Extension
We'd like to see our end users using above UDOs in PROD environment to fulfill their needs. However, I was told a UDO should be developed in DV environment and then promote to PY and then PD (just like any other E1 object).
I am wondering if this is true.
Our users don't have access to DV environment. If above promotion process is correct then we need to add DV environments to tons of roles. To me, DV environment should be used by a developer not by the end user. Asking our end users to create these UDOs in DV first does not look right.
