Migrate asm disks to another cluster 884325.1

We are about to migrate database from one RAC to another RAC by mounting existing ASM disks onto the new RAC.

RAC to be migrated was setup under OEL7.9. but we would like to point the LUNS and mount them in a new server running OEL8.x or even use OEL9.x.

Our question is, Is it supported to mount ASM LUNS from OEL7.9 to a higher version like 8 or 9.

We have done this activity before following MOS note 884325.1 but it was between same version and release of linux
