Using Configurator vs creating individual BOMs

Hi,

We are in the process of bringing on a grass seed business to E1. They currently are able to create BOMs on the fly in their legacy ERP. The need for this is that customers require different blends of seeds mixed together.

Does this sound like a use case for Configurator? We need to be able to have an outside operation for the blending process.

Any documentation that would show how to setup including outside processing?

We are on tools / apps 9.2
