Setting Up Burn Rates in PeopleSoft Grant Portal
We are currently working on setting up burn rate indicators in our PeopleSoft Grant Portal, and I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice from those who have already implemented this feature.
Specifically, I’m looking to understand:
- How your institution/company calculates and displays burn rates within the Grant Portal. Whether you follow the PeopleBook formula (
(–1) × Remaining Balance / Budgeted Amount + [(Period End Date – As of Date) / (Period End Date – Period Start Date].) to calculate or you have used other criteria. If any, I would appreciate it if you could share. - Any challenges you faced during the setup process and how you overcame them.
