Is there any way to prevent the Straight line accounting from regeneration?

Hi,

We have been looking to find if any delivered process to prevent the SL accounting for a lease. There is a flag in re_ls_trm.STRLN_FLG but this is not available for all lease on online screen.

  1. What is driving to enable STRLN_FLG on Financial term.
  2. If we turn off this flag, will it not generate the SL accounting?

We are in Peoplesoft PUM42, tools 8.61.04
