NA Payroll - Temporarily Stopping Benefits Deductions
Hello Experts,
We have employees who work nine months a year and receive paychecks only during those months. However, they are covered by medical benefits for the entire year. To ensure their benefits deductions are properly handled, we deduct at a higher rate during the nine working months so that no deductions are taken during the non-working months.
Currently, our setup results in arrears during the non-working months, which we are trying to avoid. How can we configure NA payroll to stop deductions during the non-working months? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
We are 9.2 PUM 49.
