Request for CGPA Calculation Adjustment for Repeated Courses

We are reaching out to request assistance regarding the CGPA calculation logic in our current Oracle system setup. Presently, when a student fails a course in one semester and subsequently passes it in a later semester, the credit hours for the course are included in the CGPA calculation for both semesters.

We would like to modify this behavior so that, when a course is repeated and passed in a subsequent semester, the credit hours from the passing semester are excluded from the CGPA calculation for that semester. The CGPA should only consider the initial attempt for credit hours.

We appreciate your guidance on how to implement this change within the system.
