How To Enable Oracle SNMP Trap for the Oracle Database 19c Software Installed on a RHEL 8 VM?

Hi Oracle Team,

Currently, I am working on the Oracle Database 19c Enterprise Edition, which is installed on a RHEL 8 virtual machine.

I would like to enable the Oracle SNMP Trap for our oracle database in order to manage the events of starting up and shutting down the database, but I cannot find any documents for enabling Oracle SNMP Trap on the linux system in general.

My questions are:

  1. Based on the information from the page that I have read (https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E95618_01/html/sbc_scz810_security/GUID-A0855F98-6978-4CDE-9F75-D769F2F90152.htm), how can I enable "enable-snmp-monitor-traps" in my oracle database virtual machine?

Howdy, Stranger!
