in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) (MOSC) 3 commentsAnswered ✓

I have upgraded my model X7-2 HA from 19.19 to 19.23 using data preserving and reprovisioning. I added back the smpt detail to the Sendmail configuration files and root account can send mail. But my scripts use mail and even when using Sendmail oracle has permission problems. Did something change between Linux 7 and 8? I thought only Sendmail was in use and no third party software was flagged in the prechecks ( like mailx )

How can I restore the previous functionality?
