The item date is not within the expenditure period

Hi all-

We've just started seeing this error message, generally when creating a pre-approved expenditure batch. I found no direct hits on Oracle Support.

When creating a new expenditure batch, I would expect that as long as all of the expenditures are on or before the expenditure ending date, there should be no issues. For example, if the expenditure ending date is Sept. 8, 2024, I should be able to enter an expenditure for August 15, 2024. We do this all the time with expenditure batches created via WebADI.

I'm noticing that the expenditure batch can only be for a week. Now, if the expenditure ending date is Sept. 8, all of my expenditures have to be between Sept 2 and Sept 8. Both August and September PA periods are open.

Howdy, Stranger!
