How to launch a custom program from Release Sales Orders form before pick list generation program

Hi,

We are currently on Oracle EBS 12.2.9 version

We use the seeded pick release form to release the sales orders. The pick release form submits ''Pick Selection List Generation' as soon as the pick release is executed by clicking on the 'Execute Now' or 'Concurrent' button on the 'Release Sales Orders' form.

Is there a way to split the data available for the pick release into two batches based on custom logic and submit the pick release for the two batches separately when the pick release is launched from the Release Sales Orders form? If splitting data is not possible, is there a way to launch a custom program before start of the seeded 'Pick Selection List Generation' program?
