Savings Contributions taken on eligible earnings on paychecks after employee termed
Our savings/retirement plans do not currently allow for contributions to be made on paychecks received after an employee terminates employment or becomes ineligible for retirement plans. Vacation payouts occur on the next paycheck after the pay period in which they were terminated. We want to allow for retirement savings contributions after termination on any compensation earned including regular pay or vacation payouts paid after termination.
The PeopleSoft Event Rules configuration to terminate savings/retirement plans allows 1st Full Pay Period after Event Date, on Coverage End Date, Pay Pd containing Event Date or Pay Pd Preceding Coverage End Date. None of these options will allow contributions past the last paycheck of the termination.
