Inventory Commitments - BO Release

Hi,

We currently do not have the BO or future commit processes enabled. All sales orders entered are going onto soft commit at the time of entry.

We are planning on turning on both of these processes. If I manually place an existing order on BO it does not seem to impact the commitments. Should it?

As an example, if I have 1,000 in inventory and 1,000 on soft commit any new order goes on BO. If I manually place existing orders on BO shouldn't that allow a new order to go through without going on BO?

I'm just looking for a way to clean up all existing open orders so that the BO process is working properly.
