Moving Business Units to a New Company - Preserving Historical Transactions

The business is looking to move a series of business units with existing historical transactions from an existing company to a new company that will be created for 25'. They have a desire to keep previous transactions (24' and prior) under the old company number for this series of business units.

As I understand reading through the 'How to Change the Company Number for BU in E1' guide (Doc ID 664718.1) - when working through the process of changing CO on a BU, integrity reports are run that update all transaction information to reflect the new CO. If these integrity reports are not run, then trial balance and other reports will display imbalances.
