I'm trying to create an Alert in BAM 12c [12.2.1.4] but it doesnt seem to work.

I created an alert based out of query and to send an email to an email id for every day at a certain time. But I dont see the alert being triggered nor the email being received. I'm not sure how I can check if the alerts are getting triggered as I dont see anything in the logs. Also I have applied all the mandatory patches for BAM 12c and enabled process metrics too. Please assist.
