How do the Item replenishment parameters work in the case of conflicts?

Assuming we create a review cycle schedule for a category or set of items for a store, can I define specific rules for a subset or individual item? Also, which rules take precedence if there are conflicting ones?

For example, if I schedule a weekly review every Tuesday for re-order opportunities for a generic item list in Store A, and then create a specific rule for an individual item from the same list, also on Tuesday for Store A, which rule will take precedence?
