How system Pick lot numbers if no picking rule assigned?

Dear Experts,

I would like to know that we haven't assigned any default picking rules in the Inventory organization parameters. In this case , when performing a pick release, based on what system will pick the lot numbers?(FIFO, LIFO or any another standard method)
