What are Best Practices for On-Premise to 3rd Party SaaS Integration

We are evaluating best methods for connecting a 3rd Party SaaS Integration to an On-Premise Oracle EBS R12.2.13

Is Oracle SOA Suite the appropriate path to consider for this use case given the majority of the Footprint is On-Premise EBS and this will be the first SaaS Integration and no immediate plans to move to a Cloud dominant footprint at this time.

Any insights are welcomed and encounraged.
