Display Criteria by Operation#

Dears,

Like to verify if I am correct before further testing QM:

1. Set up the item profile (W40318B) by SpecID and though it allows Row Exit to assign the display criteria on the Spec, it is useless since the setup on Spec will not default in the Tests after the Split Spec. I have tested no matter what are the criteria setups on Spec, it has Tests always with full checked display criteria. If this is true why not each item profile links to Test directly and needs one more layer on Spec?
2. We need to have Tests by operations and so set up this way on display criteria perTest on Item Profile. However, no matter triggers the P3711 from P311221 or P31123 I always have all the Tests displayed for entry but not the tests operation# specific related. Like to know if this is as designed or I missed some of the setups? Thanks a lot!
