SWITCHOVER VERIFY WARNING: switchover target has no standby database defined in LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n p

I am running an enterprise edition Oracle 19CR22 database on RH7.

I have created a standby database to test switch over - the standby db is also a 19CR22 database running on RH7.

When I run the command to verify the switch over, I get the following message:

ALTER DATABASE SWITCHOVER TO dgtstdb VERIFY
2024-09-20T14:16:18.700080-04:00
SWITCHOVER VERIFY: Send VERIFY request to switchover target DGTSTDB
SWITCHOVER VERIFY WARNING: switchover target has no standby database defined in LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n parameter. If the switchover target is converted to a primary database, the new primary database will not be protected.

Howdy, Stranger!
