How to have assets depreciate over remaining period vs going back to begging of current year

I want to be able to depreciate assets for the remaining period left in the asset life based on the depreciation start date but I am not able to get that.

Currently I am using compute direction R for straight line method with Depreciation Formula = 100 and Basis Formula = 500 and the depreciation is being calculated to begging of the current year and booked in current period. What I want is to calculate the depreciation for the remaining months left in the asset life and book the depreciation on a going forward basis
