What is the process to switch Currency Codes

What is the process to switch Currency Codes from non-ISO codes to ISO codes. For example, we currently have TEN for Kazakhstan Tenge and want to switch to the ISO standard KZT. We have GL Records populated with TEN in CRCD/CRCX in the F0902/F0911. Is it as easy as changing all the TEN values to KZT or do you have to run some type of conversion process? Anyone done this before?
