long running concurrent request

I am running a concurrent request its AR purge request (Call New Archive and Purge) and its spanning different child requests and all are completing without any issues, after all my child requests are completed also the parent request is still running for couple of hrs may be 5 or 6 and then its also completing without any issues, but the problem is all these 5 or 6 hrs the parent request I want to know what its doing, when I check sid for running concurrent request its status is inactive.
