This is an urgent announcement for E-Business Suite Advanced Benefits Release 12.2 customers who have applied either:

  1. Release 12.2 HRMS RUP18 (Patch 35672406) or
  2. Patch 35276775:R12.BEN.C - APP-PAY-07699: A RECURRING ENTRY FOR STANDARD ALREADY EXISTS FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT (which is included in RUP18)

The code changes implemented as part of the fix for Bug 35276775 - APP-PAY-07699: A RECURRING ENTRY FOR STANDARD ALREADY EXISTS FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT have introduced a regression issue that may cause a gap between element entries (thereby potentially causing data corruption) when a life event with particular data conditions is backed out. It is strongly recommended that Release 12.2 customers who have either applied RUP18 or one off
