Is it possible to Zoom In on all levels of a hierarchy with shared members?

In Hyperion Planning 11.2.12, we would like to create an alternate account hierarchy with shared parent members from the standard hierarchy. When users Zoom In All Levels, they expect to see every parent and base account, including the base accounts under the shared parents.

Currently, Smart View will only Zoom In to the shared parent members when selecting Zoom In All Levels. Then, if you Zoom In separately on the Shared Members, you can get the hierarchy to expand to show the additional accounts.

This seems like a bug. Does anyone know if it's possible to perform a Zoom In All Levels on a shared hierarchy and have it perform like it's a standard hierarchy?
