Process Request Remains Queued

However, it doesn't explain how to fix the issue exactly.
Background: We had a process of a recurrence every hour. It was last successful on 10/18/2024 @ 1 AM and then Queued for 2 AM on the same day. It remains queued and will not be processed. Any attempt to Cancel/Hold/Delete this queued process immediately goes back to queued.
When I run the scripts in the above case I do see the count is off by 1, and it is the queued process I'm trying to cancel. There is data corruption, but it doesn't mention how to sync them back up again.
