Unable to change language in Smartview/Essbase in Excel

Unable to change language in Smartview/Essbase in Excel (from Norwegian to English)

Enable to change the language in Smartview, however it does not stick until next day when user starts up Excel again.

Able to choose the setting to stick for all future documents, however choosing that option does not make the change permanent.

Tried following without succcess:

Change language in Smartview

Change language in Excel

Change language in Windows

Updated Excel

Updated Windows
