Can Role Assignments be "staffed" with a Resource in Bulk in OPC?

Have recently migrated from Primavera P6 to OPC and need to assign a Resource to existing Role Assignments.

e.g. Some of the activities in a project were assigned a Role such as an "Engineer" … and now that the project has started the existing Role Assignment to be assigned with a Resource "Joe Bloggs" (a fictitious name for the purpose of this question).

In P6 this step could be easily achieved using "fill down" of Resource ID column in the Assignments View.

The video tutorials for OPC imply that each assignment has got to be staffed "one at a time" … this is very laborious :O
