Request for Optimization Solutions for High Transaction Volume

Dear Oracle Community,

I am reaching out on behalf of my client, who is experiencing performance issues due to the large volume of transactions in their MMT and General Ledger tables. Currently, their system is slowing down significantly, and the data warehouses are retaining extensive records, resulting in increased operational costs.

To enhance system efficiency, my client has expressed a need to exclude any transactions older than five years from the active database. We would appreciate your guidance on solutions or best practices that could help us implement this data retention strategy effectively.
