Program plan stack effective date and tuition cal impact

Hi everyone,

I would like to have a question about the impact of the program action effective date to program status and tuition cal in several scenarios.

Assuming term start-end dates

Term 1: 01/04/2024 - 06/05/2024.

Term 2: 06/06/2024-11/06/2024

Scenario 1: If program action is Leave of Absence, effective date is prior to 01/04/2024 and return LOA is 08/01/2024. Does this mean student leave status is for terms 1 and 2 and students will not be able to enroll to both terms. The tuition cal should fail for the students in term 1 and 2?

Scenario 2: If program action is Discontinue, effective date is 01/20/2024. Would the status Inactive be for term 1 or term 2? In this case, if i run the tuition cal for term 1, it still succeeds meaning term 1 is still active?
