guidance on 3-way matching

  • If we implement 3 way matching, can we exclude certain payments such as utility bills, taxes  etc.?
  • What happens if there is a discrepancy in the PO e.g. in price or quantity? Would the system allow 3 way  matching?
  • What happens if the quantity received is mismatched?
  • Is there any difference in the process for 3 way matching for a good vs. a service?
  • If 3 way matching is implemented, how would this affect EAM?
