Why the interface is twice in INV

Hello, I'm in charge of EPR INV.
MTL_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE -> MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS_TEMP -> MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS
As far as I know, transactions occur through two APIs. Is there a special reason for verifying twice?
