TAX ID field will be alphanumeric for BRAZIL

Today in Brazil TAX field in F0101 is used for Company ID (Called CGC). It used to be a numeric field, but brazilian government will change it next year for alfanumeric validation. Is there any movement in Oracle regarding this change? I mean, the validation itself, because today P01012BR validates only numbers
