JDE E1 MFG Actual Costing - Impacts of Costing at Lvl 2 Item B/P instead of Lvl 3 Location

Hi All

For a relatively simple repetitive MFG process 2 items on BOM 2 Steps on rout (no Lot), Is there an impact for leaving costing at level 2. Also looking to use added costs to absorb multiple types of costs D & X

I have noted that the risk appears to be in revaluing open balances. Is there any additional risk that needs to be highlighted.
