Why are employees in the Wage Attachment Workbench showing up as fuschia?

Some employees/records are showing up as fuschia in the Wage Attachment Workbench, meaning they're locked to a payroll, yet the same employees are NOT locked in the Employee Master nor are there any payrolls being run.

Has anyone else seen this issue, and how is it fixed?
