Is it possible to create quarterly credit orders for rebates, but only reset at the end of year?

We are configuring rebates in advanced pricing. Our use case is that the rebate has multiple thresholds and it is an annual contract, so the customer should reset once at the end of the year. However, we want to use the R42770 to create a credit order once per quarter to give the customer the rebate amount they are owed four times per year. How can we create the credit order without resetting the customer, and then at the end of the year reset the customer when the fourth credit order is created? We wouldn't want
