Inventory Items Dashboard - EBS 12.2.13, ECC V12

Issue: After drilling down and updating an item from the Items Dashboard the changes do not show up when I go back to the Items Dashboard, even if I re-query.  I have to do an Incremental Load in order for the changes to be seen in the dashboard. I thought that when you make an update through the dashboard that the changes were immediately visible in the dashboard.  Is this not the case?
