Configuration of ITM adapter to Integrate with GTM

Configuration between EBS - GTM using ITM adapter looking tough for me and also i have so many doubts on this part

can anyone suggest some useful information for the below questions

Questions :

  1. We can communicate with GTM using HTTP or HTTPs protocol ?
  2. We can't Generate the Output while running the item synchronisation concurrent program !
  3. Configuration of XML Gateway is confusing for me
