Can I use RMAN backup and RMAN clone

in GoldenGate, Streams and Distributed Database (MOSC) 8 commentsAnswered ✓

Hi Gurus,

Want to replicate Oracle 12.1 datatabse(source - on linux) to Oracle 19c database(target - on linux). Can I use RMAN backup from 12.1 and use RMAN clone to perform initial load on 19c Database ?

Please clarify ?
