New benefit plan added triggering non-BAS action events

Hi, I am trying to add a benefit plan option to an existing Plan Type. When I enter an action/reason code in Job Data that normally does not trigger a BAS event (e.g. pay rate change), it is forcing me to "Prepare Options" for the event.

Is there a way to add a benefit plan option without triggering BAS events if all other benefit eligibility remains the same?
