An error occurs when activating changes after creating a generic data source

Dear Oracle Support,
I hope this message finds you well.

After creating a generic data source in WebLogic, the following error occurred when pressing the "Activate Changes" button.
Please advise on how to resolve this error.

Error Message:
"An application-scoped data source (DataSource#1) cannot specify a scope of Global when the application is versioned (DataSource#1)"

The following troubleshooting methods have been attempted but were unsuccessful:

Troubleshooting Method 1:

1.On the machine where the error is occurring, stop all managed servers, then the admin  
server.
2.Remove the edit.lok file located in your DOMAIN_HOME.
3.Remove all the files and folders in the DOMAIN_HOME/servers/AdminServer/tmp and
