How I get the Audit history for custom profile option

I am currently investigating the audit tracking for the Custom profile option. While the solution works in the demo instance for the audit track, it is not functioning as expected in the DEV31 environment.

Is there any specific role or access required to retrieve the audit tracking details for the custom profile option? If so, could you please guide me on how to check or grant the necessary permissions?
