How to create an asset without impacting Financial entries

Hi,

There is a specific requirement where user want to create an asset without cost and Life. They don't want to calculate depreciation for those assets. In future if they enter a cost, they still don't want to calculate depreciation on those asset. Please guide me how can we achieve this requirement in JDE E1 Fixed Asset Module?
